The founder or co-founder
At a funded company this size, the founder often makes the senior hire personally.
The hiring manager
The chief technology officer (CTO), the vice president of engineering, or whoever runs the team your background fits.
Your peers
People doing the work now, often from a company you know. They can tell you how the team really hires, and refer you.
The investors
The partner or managing director at the venture capital (VC) firm that funded them. They place leaders across their portfolio.
